昨日の記事のように、イギリスのReturning Resident Visaの取得に怯えている。
もしこのビザが下りなかった場合、Administrative Reviw（不服審査）するにしても別のビザカテゴリー（配偶者ビザか？）で行くにしても、時間が必要である。
もう12/20で飛行機は予約しているのだから。
公式ページにビザの申請時期の記載はあるが、Returning Residentビザについては書かれていない。

3 months before your planned travel date for visit visas
3 months before your employment start date for most work visas
6 months before your course start date for Student and Child Student visas

ビザの審査にかかる期間については記載がある。
Returning residents
You should get a decision within 3 weeks you attend your appointment at the visa application centre, if you are applying for a returning resident visa. You may be able to get your visa faster or other services depending on what country you’re in - check with your visa application centre.
３週間で結果が分かるということは、簡便な審査であるはずなので３ヵ月前の申請が妥当ということと予想。
Returning Residentビザが下りると、パスポートにVignetteと呼ばれるシールが貼られて、それをイギリスの郵便局に持って行きBRP (Biometric Residence Permit）と呼ばれるプラスチックのカードを発行してもらう。
ビザ（Vignette)はつまり入国のため、BRPが滞在許可となる。
このVignetteは有効期間が30日あり、その間に入国せねばならない。
入国後10日以内にBRPを発行してもらう。
12/20の渡航は決まっているので、9/20に申請する心づもりでいたが、早めに動き12/1を渡航予定日としてビザを申請することにする。
12/20が実際の入国予定であるが、ビザが下りればVignetteは12/1~12/30までの有効期間があるはずだから、12/20の渡航でも問題ない。
まとめると、ベストシナリオの場合、
9/1： オンライン申請 （申請書上の渡航予定日の3ヵ月前）
9月上旬：ビザセンター訪問 （申請後でないと予約も取れないし、空き状況も見れない）
9月末～10月頭：ビザ取得 （12/1~12/30のVignetteが貼られたパスポートが返却されるはず）
12/20：イギリス渡航
12/30までに：現地郵便局でBRPピックアップ
ビザが却下されたら、
9月末～10月頭：Administrative Reviw（不服審査）か別のビザ申請
2か月半で頑張るしかない・・・。
とにかく早くReturning Residentビザを申請して、Plan Bにも備えることにしたのである。
